14 WITTY HYDROGEN PEROXIDE HOUSEHOLD USES (FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING)

Hydrogen Peroxide has become famous for purposes other than for its use in the medical area as an antisceptic. It is really interesting to see the other things it does in the home.

It is a safe product to use around the home for cleaning, sanitizing, and for many of your daily household activities. Having a bottle of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE in your home is without a doubt a smart choice.

Here are some great ways you can use Hydrogen Peroxide and I know you will have fun trying them in your home.

 

1. CLEAN DRAINS

Because your drain gathers almost everything you use daily. It can grow bacteria that can make your home smell like sewage. This catastrophe can be avoided with this simple 

 

If your drains reek with bad odors so will your entire home. Take care of that situation by simply making hydrogen peroxide your go-to bathroom cleaner.

 

INSTRUCTIONS…

 

Pour Hydrogen Peroxide down the bathroom, kitchen sink, and shower drain. Doing this will keep them from ruining your home aroma.

2. SANITIZE HANDS BEFORE INTERCOURSE

The thought of this makes sense, but how often do we practice sanitizing before enjoying it. Most times in the spur of the moment washing hands seems impossible.

Did you know that not doing so can cause a yeast infection especially in women, THAT WOULD BE JUST AWFUL?

Most times we ignore the fact that our hands are dirty even when they appear to be clean. Throughout our busy day, our hands touch nasty things packed with bacteria such as our money, phones, car steering wheels, shoes, and who knows what else!

keep a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide close by. Then you will not have to go too far to get those hands clean before going any further.

 

 

3. KEEP FRUITS PESTICIDE-FREE

 

News flash!! the fruits that we purchase at our local markets and supermarkets are coated with a chemical for preservation and also have pesticides on them that were used to keep the pest from eating the fruit. This type of chemical you don’t want to digest.

Make a mixture of 1 cup Hydrogen Peroxide to water, depending on the number of fruits you will be washing. Soak the fruits in the mixture then ensure they are rinsed and dry well be consuming.

Do not only do this for the chemicals on the fruits but, washing your fruits with Hydrogen Peroxide will also eliminate bacteria. Rines well with tap water before eating.

 

4. REMOVE ARMPIT STAINS

I wore a white T-shirt to work every day. I now realized that even if you wear a new one each day the armpit still gets a stain, The stain is caused by either your deodorant or sweat.

Whatever that causes it, it’s just a nasty look. Combine toothpaste with Hydrogen Peroxide to make a paste just enough o cover the stain.

Rub onto the stain and allow the paste to penetrate for 30 minutes to an hour. Wash as you normally do, and the stain will be gone.

EXTRA TIP: Pour 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide in the washer with your white clothes will brighten them leaving you with white clothes that are just radiant.

5. COUNTERTOP DISINFECTANT

There is not one countertop that doesn’t need to be disinfected. We use our countertops to prepare meats, vegetables, and other food products.

These loved food items leave behind harmful bacterias that can cause foodborne illnesses. It is good to prevent before curring, so before you prepare the next meal.

Keep in mind to disinfect the countertop. Mist the countertop with a little Hydrogen Peroxide especially where there are food marks.

Let it sit for 5 minutes then wipe away with a damp clean damp cloth. When cleaning with any chemical, remember to wear gloves to protect your skin.

 

 

6. DISINFECT CUTTING BOARDS

 

 

Cutting boards are high bacteria-carrying items in our homes. There is certainly no question about that. The good thing about cutting boards is, they can be easily disinfected. After washing your cutting board with soap and warm water.

Dry it with a sheet of paper towel. Pour some Hydrogen Peroxide on a sponge and rub it all over your cutting board. Allow to self dry before using.

Remember foods such as meats when not cooked has a high potency of bacteria, so always disinfect your cutting board before using. Healthy board, healthy you.

7. HOW TO CLEAN THE EAR WITH HYDROGEN PEROXIDE (EAR WAX & INFECTION)

My son came into my bedroom agonizing in pain. It seems he had an ear infection. Surprisingly he got this by actually washing his ear underneath the shower. Excess water in the ear can cause your ear to be infected.

Instructions…

Tilt your head sideways with the affected ear face upwards

Step 1. Pour 2 drops of hydrogen peroxide into the ear. Avoid using olive oil with hydrogen peroxide as this can prevent full penetration.

Step 2. Keep your head tilted for five minutes until the solution is fully penetrated. If the other ear is also infected, repeat the process.

Don’t be frightened by the weird sound of the solution going down. When the sound stops damp a cotton ball with a dab of rubbing alcohol and wipe away the drainage.

8. SOFTEN CORNS AND CALLUSES

Recently I purchased a product for calluses, only to find out that Hydrogen Peroxide is the ideal product for removing corns and calluses. I could have saved a few extra dollars if I had known this before. If you need to get rid of your calluses and corns.

 

Simply soak them in a combination of Hydrogen Peroxide and warm water. This will soften the hard area so you can remove whatever it is you need to remove.

9. ELIMINATE AIRBORNE BACTERIA

As we are aware, bacteria float around in the air. Keeping your environment clean is a good idea as bacteria need a reason to grow. One bacteria is always around and it’s airborne bacteria. Here is how to make sure the air inside your home is clean.

Mix 1 pint of Hydrogen Peroxide PREFERABLY 3% to a gallon of water then add to your humidifier. This will circulate and clean the air in your home. Diffusers with a few drops of scented oils will work wonders for your home.

 

 

10. HELPS HEALTHY GERMINATION OF SEEDS

 

If you plan on sowing some seeds for the upcoming season you may want to look out for fungal spores which can cause infertility of the seeds.

Before sowing, soak the seeds in Hydrogen Peroxide for a few hours then go ahead and sow. You are sure to have a healthy crop thanks to Hydrogen Peroxide.

11. MAKE TOILET BOWLS CLEAN

If you are tired of the way your toilet looks and smell, here is what to do. Pour a cup of hydrogen peroxide into your toilet bowl. Use a toilet brush to wash the bowl.

13. CLEANS GLASS TOP STOVE

 

How exactly do you keep your glass top stove looking beautiful? There is only one answer to that. To clean your glass top stove without leaving a scratch, here is what you need to do.

Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1/4 cup of Dawn dish soap. Add to that 3 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide. Use this mixture to clean your stove leaving it, scratch-free and glowing.

14. REMOVE BAKED-ON FOOD

If you use your pots and pots often then baked-on foods are something you will have to deal with after cooking or baking a meal. This is not easy to remove.

You are going to need a solution. Pour hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle. Use this to spray directly on the baked-on food. Sprinkle on a small amount of baking soda to form a paste. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
