10 PROFOUND FELS-NAPTHA HOUSEHOLD TIPS YOU WILL WANT TO TRY

I fell crazy in love with Fels-Naptha a month ago. The story began a few months before that I had no clue what that soap was for. The only thing I knew was that the fancy name was very hard to pronounce and that’s it.

After doing some research on this mysterious soap I found out that it was a laundry detergent bar. This amazing bar soap came into existence in 1893  by Fels & Company and up to this very day marketed in the United States and Canada.

However, Fels-Naptha can be broken down into many forms of soap type and use for many purposes. It makes real sense to keep a bar or two of Fels -Napha.

Use Fels-Naptha around the home for its effectiveness and affordability and bleach substitute. Fels- Naptha is classified as a safe household product, that’s why it’s so amazing.

Fels-Naptha has now become my favorite go-to laundry and household product as it makes me spend less and still get the best results, and to top it all, does whatever tasks it is used for very well. Here are 10 smart ways to use Fels-Naptha in your home.

1.TREAT POISON IVY

Use a bar of Fels-Naptha to rub on the affected area immediately after being exposed to poison ivy. This will remove the oil from the skin and prevent rash.

However, it can still be used even after the trash has developed to lessen the outbreak of the rash. This bar soap should never leave your camping bag.

Fels-Naptha can be used as a powerful insecticide. Most gardeners will love to know about this amazing trick. Add  4 tablespoons of Fes-Naptha to a gallon of hot water.

I love the smell of babies, but not when there is dried up formula spills on their clothes. These days, babies’ clothing has a high resale value so keeping them in excellent order should be a high priority.

If you happen to have a few stained baby clothing lying around, then do this…First, rub the clothing with a wet Fels-Naptha bar.

Proceed to pour by soaking in  1 gallon of warm water then dissolve 1/2 cup of Borax in the water. Let it sit for 40 minutes then wash. Now they are ready for the market or simply ready to be placed back on your little bundle of joy!!!

7.USE FELS-NAPTHA FOR WHITER WHITES

To be honest, I am a fan of bleach, but whenever I used it my eyes and sinus hurt badly. I have also noticed that my precious bleach was turning my whites into yellow. If bleach is not used correctly it can actually leave holes in your clothes.

That would certainly be a laundry disaster. You can use Fels-Naptha as a bleach substitute, with no allergy reactions. Simply grate a cup of Fels -Naptha and dissolve in warm water.

Use a bucket or your sink to soak the item in for an hour, or overnight will be best if you have the time to spare.  For the best results, remove and wash as you normally would.

8.GROUT CLEANER

9.CLEANS TOILETS

To remove that gunky smell from your toilet. Simply melt a bar of Fels-Naptha in 6 cups of hot water. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oils to the mixture.

Pour into the bowl and wash with a toilet brush. Give it a flush and await the wonders you will see. Your toilet will be sparkling clean and smell fresh.

Do not store the solution, when cold the melted soap will appear as a fatty substance in the bottle and will have to be softened again to be used.
