🍞How to Make No-Knead Bread at Home

Think homemade bread is too hard or time-consuming? Think again. This no-knead bread recipe is perfect for beginners. No stand mixer. No kneading. Just a few ingredients and a bit of time.

Here is how to do it…

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 2 tbsp soft butter
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/4 tbs salt

You will need a 9-inch loaf pan for this size loaf

🥣 Instructions:

  1. Combine the flour, salt, yeast, butter, and cooking oil in a bowl. Next, mix the wet ingredients—pour the sugar into the warm water. Gradually pour the water into the flour mixture and use a spoon to fold it in. The dough will be sticky—that’s normal. Do this until all the dry ingredients are incorporated.

  2. Cover with plastic wrap or a towel and let it rest on your counter for 30 minutes. After the first 30 minutes are up, fold it in again with a spoon, trying to fold it into a ball. Cover for another 1 hour and 30 minutes to rise.

  3.  ROLLING THE DOUGH—- Next, turn the dough out on a floured surface and punch out the air gently with your fingers or fist. Now, roll the dough into the shape of the greased baking pan. Place the dough in the pan.  Let it rest for 30 minutes. Preheat oven and bake at 355°F for 35-45 minutes.

  4. Uncover and bake for another 10–15 minutes until golden brown. If the pan has no lid, that’s okay.

✅ Tips:

  • No baking pan? Use a heavy pot with a lid or even bake on a sheet pan (texture may differ).

  • Also, allow the loaf to cool before being tempted to cut into it.
  • Use parchment paper to avoid sticking.

Serving:

Serve with any spread of your choice. This tastes so delicious!

That’s it! In just a few hours, you’ll have artisan-style bread with no kneading and no fuss.
